Not Hopeless - Guest Post by Kerri Molzen

December 15, 2018

What is the first thing you may think of when you hear the words "incurable disease?"

I believe it would be safe to say that many who are looking at these words would think of death or no hope.

God does not want us to look at the circumstance or situation first; He wants us to look at Him and trust Him. What does His Word say about sickness and disease?

1 Peter 2:24 NLT: He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.

Psalms 103:3 NLT: He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.

Above I underlined what we should be looking at: "You are healed; heals all my diseases."

The two mentioned Scriptures are in present tense, which means "currently" or you can say "presently." I like "now." You could say these verses like this: "Because Jesus carried our sins in his body on the cross and by his wounds we are healed NOW."

"He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases NOW."

November 16th 2015: I faced those words "incurable disease." In my book Healing of the Heart, I am transparent about my journey through this difficult situation, standing on the Word of God and trusting what God's Word says. My goal in writing this book was to show others that they too can stand on God's Word and get God's results, which is healing along with many other benefits. I am honored and so grateful to Julie Powers for the extra push I needed and hope my book blesses and encourages many.
